• 2 tbsp plain yogurt
• ½ cup warm milk (adjust as needed)
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 tbsp oil or melted butter
For topping:
• 2–3 cloves garlic (finely minced)
• 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
• Melted butter or ghee (for brushing)
Method
1. Prepare the dough

◦ Add yogurt, milk, and oil. Knead into a soft dough.
◦ Cover and rest for 1–2 hours.
2. Divide and shape
◦ Divide dough into equal portions.
◦ Roll each into an oval or teardrop shape.
◦ Sprinkle garlic and coriander on top. Press gently.
3. Cook the naan
◦ Heat a tawa or skillet until very hot.
◦ Place naan (garlic side up) on the pan.
◦ Cook until bubbles form, then flip.
◦ Cook the other side until golden brown spots appear.
4. Finish and serve
◦ Brush with melted butter or ghee.
◦ Serve hot with curry or chutney.
💡 Tips
• Use cast iron or heavy-bottomed pan for best texture.
• For restaurant-style char, cook naan directly over flame for a few seconds.
• Dough should be soft but not sticky—adjust milk as needed.
• Garlic can be sautéed briefly before topping for milder flavor.
